Hedge Funds; Presented by Scott Kyle; Location:	Ever wonder what exactly a hedge fund is? How and why is it different from a mutual fund? How do hedge funds typically perform? Learn all this and much more in this workshop, hosted by Mr. Scott Kyle of the Coastwise Capital Group, a hedge fund here in San Diego. He’ll address hedge fund operations, managing risk and speculating using derivative securities, and the industry in general.
Value/Behavioral Investing; Presented by Machel Allen; Location:	Value Investing has long been considered one of the hardest investment disciplines to maintain, but those who adhere to its principles are amongst the most successful investors of all time: Warren Buffett, John Templeton, and Charles Brandes, to name a few. Learn about how value investing differs from traditional methods, its successes and failures, and what it means to search for value.

Quant Investing; Presented by Carma Wallace; Location:	Alpha and Beta, variance and Sharpe ratios, Bollinger bands and MA – confused yet? No need to be. Learn about technical and quantitative investing from one of the pros. If you’re not interested in waiting a couple of years for an investment to turn around, then this is the workshop for you.
Investment Banking; Presented by Eric Darwin; Location:	Investment Banking is the most desired yet most misunderstood field in finance. Learn about raising capital and M&A deals, what the lifestyle is like, and how to break into the industry.
Corporate Development Presented by Adam Roston; Location:	Corporate Development is similar to Investment Banking but it’s for a single corporation – learn about how a company decides on its acquisitions, how it chooses to raise capital, and how to get into the field.
Actuary session; Presented by Naqi Jaffery;   Location: Davis/Riverside	If you’re quantitatively-minded, you need to attend this. Actuaries do serious statistical analysis to calculate risk and how to offset it. Learn about how to get a solid job in finance, insurance, and general business.
